(I don't know if I am still an elementary teacher or a middle school teacher so I just put my elementary information)

When I open Google Drive on my laptop after a few minutes the area under the shown document will start blinking. See attached....it is the area where the Google Account icon is shown and where it tells you when you last opened the item. I can get it to stop by closing out and opening the Google Drive again, but sometimes even then it happens again.
